Sold with a subsequent letter from Rembert Wurlitzer Inc., New York 1965, confirming that the Wurlitzer Co. acquired the bow from W.E.Hill & Sons before 1926, selling it to Joseph Haft, further mentioning that P. Gessler was a violinist living in Frankfurt circa 1875
