Information for visitors to Brompton’s Auctioneers

Following Government Guidelines; Brompton’s London office is open Monday to Friday, 11am – 4pm.

All appointments for viewing, valuations, consignments or collections will be by strict appointment and visitors will only be admitted into the office or building if the guidelines below have been followed. This is to keep our visitors and staff safe and secure during the COVID-19 situation.

General Visitor Information

Please follow the instructions on the Brompton’s sign which is visible at the main entrance of the Royal Institution and telephone the number given. A member of Brompton’s staff will open the door (please allow for the 2 metre social distancing rule). When entering the building visitors will be signed in by Front of House or Security staff, with contact details taken. Please note these will be kept for 14 days by the RI and Brompton’s.

PPE equipment will be available at this time; please use hand sanitizers provided and ask a Brompton’s member of staff for gloves and a mask if you do not have them.

If you are visiting the Brompton’s office; you will follow the member of staff, again allowing for social distancing via 2 flights of stairs; and must be wearing a mask and gloves before entering the office. Please note there will be no toilet facilities or lift availability for visitors – if you are unable to use the stairs; please note this in your appointment booking.

Please contact a member of staff to arrange a one hour viewing appointment (available weekdays from 12 – 5pm). You will be required to wear a mask and disposable gloves (both can be provided) and socially distance from staff during viewing.
