B. 1818, d. 1905, Modena

A very original maker, lacking in finesse and very mannered in style, generally with a slender, elongated model with clear red or orange varnish. He spent the years from 1878 to 1890 in Rome, but otherwise lived and worked in Modena. His son, Antonio (1866-1938) took over the shop in 1890, and worked briefly in Palermo and Rome.
