Certificate

Sold with a copy of the certificate of Edward Withers, London 1971. The certificate confirms that the cello was used by the famous English cellist Beatrice Harrison for her 'Nightingale' broadcasts in the 1930's. Illustrated in Edward Withers Ltd 230 years of violin craft in Soho by Adam Whone Charles Boullangier started work at Withers in 1849 and this cello was almost certainly made by him.
