The dendrochronology report by Peter Ratcliff is available to purchase, detailing latest dates of 1610 on the bass side and 1628 on the treble side, which correlate with examples by Nicola Amati, others by Francesco Rugeri, members of the Guarneri family, Brothers Amati violin, etc.. The violin is in a remarkable state of preservation, and liberally covered in original varnish.
