B. Sesto Cremonese 1785, d. 1860, Mantua

The son and pupil of Giovanni Battista, he worked in similar style to his father, though less productively. His activity tailed off during the late 1820s, and in 1850 he left Cremona altogether. In 1855 he sent two violins to the Paris Exhibition which received Honourable Mention. From 1856 he lived in Mantua, where he resumed his violin making, possibly with assistance from Gaetano Antoniazzi.
