Cordanus, Jacobus Philippo

Slightly unpredictable workman using both low- and high-arched Amati models. Often used wood of meagre quality, but had good varnish occasionally with deep orange-brown pigmentation. He seems to have made a good quantity of cellos, which are tonally very efficient.
