Guidantus, Joannes Florenus
B.1687, d.1760, Bologna
Commonly referred to as Fiorino or Floriano after his father, who was recorded as the repairer of instruments at the Academia Filarmonica of Bologna. Giovanni Fiorino inherited this post, and made good quality instruments with fine modelling and a rather hard golden yellow varnish.
